Can I bring my own food and drinks?
No outside food and drinks allowed.
At The Deck Kids we have a delicious menu that is suitable for people of all ages for your convenience. We kindly ask that no outside food is brought in with the exception of baby bottles or baby food.
Can I bring a cake to a general play session?
No outside food is allowed in the play sessions including cakes.
What does my $8 entrance fee get me?
Your $8 fee can be redeemed across our whole menu, including coffee, juices and brunch favourties!
I didn't spend the whole $8, do I get a partial refund?
Unfortunately not. We find that most people will easily spend the whole amount when grabbing a coffee and item off our delicious menu!
How long are play sessions?
All bookings are allocated a 1.5 hour time slot only
Where can I park?
Street parking is available outside The Deck Kids along 26 Outer Crescent, Brighton 3186
I can't make my session, can I get my money back?
A 24 hour cancellation policy applies. If you need to cancel within 24 hours of booking entrance fee is not refundable.
Can I leave my kids and come back for pick-up?
Unless the child is in accompaniment of another parent/guardian this is not allowed.
Will there be a staff member looking after the kids?
Kids are expected to be supervised by their parents/gaurdian throughout their session. Our staff will be around to assist with serving food and beverages and pack up and cleaning after each session.
Are there baby change facilities?
Yes, of course!
Is there a seating area for adults?
Sure is! We have plenty of seats for adults to sit down and enjoy their session at our cafe with a clear view of the play space.
What are the best children ages for The Deck Kids?
We welcome kids of all ages however children from ages 12 months – 6 years old are sure to get the most out of this sensory play experience. There is a special soft play house for the little ones.
What Covid safety measures will be taken?
Temperature checks for all attendees will be taken at the beginning of each session. Staff will be regularly sanitising all the play areas in between each session. We will provide sanitiser wipes and hand sanitiser to use as required.
Can I hire the cafe and play area for a party?
Absolutely! Please contact our friendly functions coordinator and she can help you to start planning your exclusive party. email@example.com
Can I just book a table in a play session for a party?
If you are wanting to host a party in the café please contact firstname.lastname@example.org as we have the option of booking the café exclusively. All play sessions are for general play only. We do not allow any decorations, cakes, lolly bags etc. during these sessions.
