Do I need to make a deposit?

A $500 deposit is required to secure your child’s event. Balance payment is required 10 days prior.

What is the cancellation policy?

8 weeks prior- $450 of deposit refunded, with $50 administration fee.

2-8weeks prior- deposit will be forfeited in full.

Less than 2 weeks – deposit forfeited and cancellation fee equivalent to 50% minimum spend.

All details including final guest numbers are to be confirmed 14 days prior.

Where can I park?

Street parking is available outside The Deck Kids along 26 Outer Crescent, Brighton 3186

How soon do I need to confirm my booking, attending guests and menu options?

What if I have less than 15 children attending a party?

Our packages have been designed for you to get the most out of your time at The Deck Kids and whether you have 10 or 15 children attend, the base price applies. If you decide to increase the number of guests there will be an additional fee per guest. 

 

For catering purposes, please notify us of any increase in number at least 5 days before the party date.

Is the birthday child counted in the party number?

The birthday child is included in the total number of party guests.

How many adults can I have at the party?

We can host up to 20 adults for the duration of the party.

Can I bring my own cake?

Yes, of course!

Can we bring our own balloons into the party room?

Yes you can! We also have recommended suppliers if you need help finding a balloon supplier. Just ask, we’re happy to help!

Will there be supervision of the children attending the party?

Each party will have a dedicated party host and entertainer. We also require two adults to supervise for the duration of the party. 

Can we bring external entertainers?

For your convenience we have partnered with Little Party Faces and provide an entertainer for every party which is included in the package price. 

Can we stay in the party room for longer than the allocated time?

Unfortunately not. Our staff will need time to pack up and sanitise the room ready for the next party. If you are wanting to extend your party time, please speak to Kelly when booking.

Where can my guests' parents and I get a coffee or something to eat?

We have a fully functioning cafe at the rear location of the Deck Kids. This is located at 212 Bay Street, Brighton!

Can I hire the cafe and play area for a party?

Absolutely! Please download the ‘Cafe Room Function Package’ or contact our friendly functions coordinator and she can help you to start planning your exclusive party. events@jbshospitality.com.au
